1. System Requirements
Minimum hardware requirement:
Pentium III or Power PC G3, CD-Rom Drive, 256-color monitor.
Compatible operating systems:
Microsoft Windows 98, 98 SE, NT 4.0, ME, XP (all versions), Vista (all versions), Mac OS 8.5 and higher, Mac OS 9.X, Mac OS 10.X*.
To run this PowerPoint® presentation the following software is recommended**:
Windows: Microsoft PowerPoint® 2001 or higher, or PowerPoint Viewer®***
Mac OS 8.5 - 9.X: Microsoft PowerPoint® 2001 for Macintosh
Mac OS 10.X: Microsoft PowerPoint® 2004 for Macintosh
NOTE: Adobe Acrobat version 4.0 may also be required (see section 4 below for download instructions).
*Limited compatibility may be available for Linux/Unix based systems or systems based on other operating systems depending on the availability of PowerPoint® compatible software.
** Other software that may be compatible with this PowerPoint® are Apple Keynote, OpenOffice Impress and Corel Presentations. Please refer to the individual product documentation to verify compatibility with Microsoft PowerPoint®. 2. Instructions
Unpacking the download Archive:
This download was packaged as a .zip archive. Depending on your operating system a file archive tool may be required to access the contents of this .zip package. Two popular products are WinZip® and Stuffit Expander® (see “FREE Software Downloads” below for information on obtaining the proper software for your operating system).
Windows 98 thru Windows 2000:
- Download and install WinZip® (see section 4).
- Download and save the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package to your desktop.
- Double click the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package and follow the instructions to extract the information, being sure to note to where the files were extracted.
Mac OS 8.5 thru 10.2.X:
- Download and install Stuffit Expander® (see section 4).
- Download and save the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package to your desktop.
- Double click the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package the contents should be extracted to the desktop. Move the folder containing the PowerPoint® to your desired location, noting the name of that location.
Windows XP & Vista:
- Download and save the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package to your desktop
- Double click the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package and follow the instructions to extract the information, being sure to note to where the files where extracted.
Mac OS 10.3 thru 10.5.X:
- Download and save the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package to your desktop
- Double click the PowerPoint® presentation .zip package. The contents should be extracted to the desktop. Move the folder containing the PowerPoint® to your desired location, noting the name of the location.
Using the PowerPoint® presentation:
- Open up Microsoft PowerPoint® file.
- From the “File” menu choose the PowerPoint® from the location chosen in the unpacking process (see above).
- Please refer to the documentation provided with Microsoft PowerPoint® for instructions on how to use this presentation.
