ENDORSEMENTS FOR ROSE GUIDE TO THE TEMPLE:
Rose Guide to the Temple provides an excellent blend of research of literary sources, archeological evidence, and architectural calculations of the Temple structures. It is based on painstaking research into all the technical details provided by Scripture sources, as well as ancient literary descriptions. Its precision and visual clarity make this Guide into an indispensable source for our knowledge about the ancient Temples. The student of Scripture as well as of religion will learn much from the clear and beautiful presentation of details that cannot be easily visualized when reading Scripture passages. This book also clearly lays out the relation between the few remains of the Temple with reference to the original buildings. This is an absolute must for the modern student and visitor to Jerusalem.
Dr. Emanuel Tov, J.L. Magnes Professor of Bible, Hebrew University of Jerusalem
As former architect of the Temple Mount Excavations, following the 6-Day War, and as one who has, since then, been engaged in intensive Temple research, I highly recommend this book [Rose Guide to the Temple]. Its lavish illustrations which include color maps, diagrams and authoritative reconstructions, coupled with clear verbal descriptions, offer unique insights into the subject of the Temple. Christian leaders and visitors to the Holy Land will find it provides an invaluable overview of the topic from the time of the Tabernacle to the present day.
Leen Ritmeyer, Former architect of the Temple Mount Excavations
It is a real pleasure for me to describe my joy and deep appreciation for The Rose Guide to the Temple by Dr. Randall Price. Lay people and scholars alike will find that the narrative script, the graphics, and the pictures are most scintillating and beautifully carried out throughout the entire book. I have not seen anything that compares to this work of academic responsible research and superb aesthetic taste. Not only does this text cover all periods of history in which the temple was part of those times, but it carefully and irenically explores the question of a future temple in Jerusalem with a fairness to all sides in the debate. Walter C. Kaiser, Jr., President Emeritus, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary
This book has more photos, images, time lines, maps, diagrams, and floor plans of ANY book on the Temple I've ever seen. Stunningly beautiful. A must-have for any Bible student or traveler to the Holy Land. Gretchen Goldsmith

Rose Guide to the Temple
As a lover of HIS WORD and the tabernacle and the temple being one of my favorite subjects to study while continuing to discover more and more - this is an excellent study tool - Oh my I could not wait to get it in the mail and yes I just had to get the download earlier. Easy to understand but also guiding you to the deep meaning of the temple and just how central it was in Jewish life. As now for us to see the Temple as a structure that presented our LORD JESUS CHRIST to make HIM CENTRAL in our Lives for by HIS LOVE and sacrifice we can come boldly to the Throne - oh my HE IS GRACE. I can say thank you ROSE for another excellent tool and I love the overlays for now I just cannot wait to share this with the Saints here as we dig deep being lead by the Holy Spirit to more and more of CHRIST JESUS!

This volume [Rose Guide to the Temple] offers a comprehensive overview of the Temple for undergrads. It is an ideal textbook which weaves together the archaeological and historical evidence relating to the Temple with its theological significance. All the time periods are covered, with a section on God's Sanctuary before the Temple, in the Garden of Eden and the Tabernacle. Includes extensive time lines, charts, diagrams, as well as plans and cross-sections. Includes discussions of Temple architecture with diagrams of significant structures such as the 'Ain Dara temple and the Dome of the Rock. In this book, Randall has masterfully brought together an immense amount of material on this complex topic and made it accessible for all levels. Fully annotated with about 100 endnotes.

Review by: Jeffrey Seif, Television spokesperson for "Zola Levitt Presents" - October 12, 2011
Surrounded by many books as I am in my office, I tend keep the really good ones close—within arms’ reach. Written by one of the best Christian, Jewish studies scholars in the world today, Dr. J. Randall Price’s Rose Guide to the Temple is one of those keep-close books. Exhaustive as it is, it is a one-stop-shop for those wanting to hear, see and chart the story of the most contested spot on planet earth. It’s not only well written—something we have all grown to expect from Dr. Price: it’s well presented, with quality illustrations, diagrams, photos, classic art and more. Believing it to be well worth the money, I am happy to commend it to you, knowing you’ll be pleased to commend it to others.
Review by: David Reagan, Lamb & Lion Ministries - October 19, 2011
I have had the privilege of ministering with Dr. Randall Price at conferences all across America. I have always found him to be a down-to-earth communicator whose comments are biblically based and are devoid of speculation and sensationalism. He is a world-class expert on the Jewish Temple, and his collaboration with the Rose Publishing Company has produced a book about the Temple that is stunning in its layout and illustrations and straight-to-the-point in its explanations. This will undoubtedly be the classic study of the Temple for years to come.
Review by: Rabbi John Fischer, Ph.D., Th.D., Academic Vice President, St. Petersburg Seminary and Yeshiva - November 17, 2011
Randall Price is a respected Christian scholar who writes effectively on matters related to Jewish studies. This volume [Rose Guide to the Temple] is no exception. He provides us with significant detail and extensive documentation on this very important topic. Given the repeated appearance of the Temple Mount in Middle East news coverage, this is a timely and relevant book. It will help clarify some of the fundamental issues involved and sweep away many of the myths and distortions circulating in the discussion about this significant site. Dr. Price also provides an extremely useful text about the history, structure and meaning of the Temple, while showing how archaeology related to the Temple confirms the biblical accounts.
