What's at Stake in the Calvinism vs. Arminianism Debate?

The two views have many practical implications. Do people have free will or does God predestine them to be saved? If God elects us, is there any reason to spread the Gospel? on 10/12/2016 Free Will vs Predestination – Calvin and Arminianism explained
This was a subject that always bewildered me and this pamphlet answered those questions. There is a concise Side-by-Comparison chart that really helped explain differences. This pamphlet covers the 5 main issues surrounding Free Will and Predestination for ex. Election, Atonement and grace being the standout ones. It gives the points of agreement for each issue and the biblical passages that explain the points. I have always appreciated that in all Rose Publishing publications, the scripture verses are highlighted so that you can highlight or make notes in your bible. They are beautifully illustrated throughout and clear readable print. This would make a nice bible study with the questions that are at the end of each issue section throughout. If you have ever had the questions arise “once we are saved, can we lose our salvation, or “do we have to do anything to be saved, you need this pamphlet. I received a pdf copy free from Rose Publishing Review Program. FTC 16 CFR, Part 255
    on 8/13/2016 Good Overview
The first thing that really stuck out to me about this pamphlet was the amount detail in such a small amount space. The church history of both the Calvinist view on predestination, and the Arminian view of free will is presented in an easy to read and understand format. Rose Publishing did an excellent job of putting together a pamphlet on a topic that could be confusing without help. I believe this pamphlet will further help you understand the Calvinist view on predestination, and the Arminian view of free will. Regardless of whether you already believe the Calvinist view, or the Arminian view, I think you will gain a better understanding on specific reasons why you believe that viewpoint. The pamphlet contrasts what each of the two views has to say about the following topics: Free will, election, atonement, grace, and security. The pamphlet shows where each of the two views agree, and where each view differs. Something that is included that could be useful both for personal study or a small group is the questions at the end of each section. The end of the pamphlet includes some important key words that the average church goer may be unfamiliar with. Overall, this pamphlet is an excellent overview that will be beneficial to anyone that is seeking a brief summary of the two viewpoints. Rose Publishing provided me with an advanced reader copy.
